Apex Mayor Keith Weatherly called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m.  Committee members attending were Cary Mayor Harold Weinbrecht, Holly Springs Mayor Dick Sears, Morrisville Mayor Jan Faulkner, Apex Town Manager Bruce Raeford, Cary Interim Town Manager Ben Shivar, and Morrisville Town Manager John Whitson.  Committee member absent was Holly Springs Town Manager Carl Dean.  The meeting adjourned at 5:35 p.m.

1. Approval of minutes of the Policy Advisory Committee held on September 29, 2008 and January 30, 2009.

            Mayor Weinbrecht moved to approve the minutes, Mayor Dick Sears provided the second and the committee unanimously approved the motion.

B.   Items for Discussion:

1. Project Budget – Status Update (PAC09-28)

Mayor Weinbrecht moved to approve the Western Wake Regional Wastewater Facilities Budget Update and Proposed FY10 Operating Budget.  Mayor Sears provided the second, and the committee unanimously approved the motion.

2. Harris Lake Discharge (PAC09-29)

Mayor Sears moved to approve the continuation of moving forward with the next steps for a discharge to Harris Lake.  Mayor Faulkner provided the second, and the committee unanimously approved the motion.

1. Future meeting dates and time will be coordinated by committee secretary on an as-needed basis.
